Penzance Heliport Granted Unanimous Planning Consent

Helicopters will once again connect Penzance and the Isles of Scilly after Cornwall Council’s Strategic Planning Committee unanimously backed a new Penzance Heliport. An independent aviation manager with 24 years’ experience of Isles of Scilly air services has confirmed Penzance Heliport would be more weather resilient than Land’s End Airport. Plans for a replacement Penzance Heliport to serve the Isles of Scilly have been recommended for approval by Cornwall Council planning officers.
