Penzance Helicopters will be powered by Sloane Helicopters, who will operate the aircraft and supply key staff, including pilots and engineers.

In 2019, Sloane will celebrate 50 years in aviation and are widely recognised as one of Europe’s leading helicopter companies, trusted by clients including high profile individuals, a number of air ambulances and even No 32 (The Royal) Squadron of the Royal Air Force, charged with the movement of senior military commanders and Government Ministers.

Sloane Helicopters have been the UK and Ireland distributor and service centre for Leonardo Helicopters – formerly AgustaWestland – for over 22 years.

The company enjoys strong Cornish connections; indeed Chairman David George, who still owns the company, was educated in Penzance and the Managing Director, Jeremy Awenat, served at RNAS Culdrose.
