We expect the amended planning application for Penzance Heliport to be heard at the on Thursday 28th June 2018, at the meeting of Cornwall Council’s Strategic Planning Committee.

This day has been a long time coming, and we would like to thank you for your continued support. We know that the delay, caused by the Judicial Review and other objections, has been difficult, and we are as eager as our supporters to get helicopters in the air between Penzance and Scilly once again.

Our aim has always been to provide a stronger transport system for the Isles of Scilly and re-establish the reputation of the islands as an accessible location for residents, businesses and visitors. This will encourage growth on the islands and in West Cornwall.

One Final Thing

Now is the critical moment in the project, so please would you consider confirming your support to Cornwall Council?

Even if you have already done so previously, confirmation of your support for a helicopter from Penzance will still be incredibly important.

You can view and comment on the application in the following ways:

We hope to be able to share positive news with you in two weeks’ time!

Have just returned from a wonderful two weeks on Scilly, the only downside was that fog at Lands end meant that we had to transfer to the ship ,such a nuisance (and loss of money!) Please give us back our helecopter, asp
